Pond Pop · How We Handle Your Data
Pond Pop is built to be played without handing over any personal information. There's no account, no sign-up, and no profile behind the pond.
Your best splash score is saved locally in your browser, so it's there the next time you visit. It never reaches our servers.
We don't ask for your name, email, location, or payment information, since nothing about Pond Pop requires knowing who you are.
Our hosting provider automatically keeps brief technical logs common to any website — approximate request timing and browser type — solely to keep the pond running and catch errors. These logs aren't linked to any personal identity.
Your locally stored best score stays until you clear it through your browser settings. Server-side technical logs are cleared automatically, typically within 30 days.
The page loads two web fonts from a standard font provider. We don't sell or share any information with advertisers or data brokers.
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Because so little ever leaves your browser, there's little for us to protect, though no online service can guarantee perfect security.
Clearing this site's data in your browser resets your saved best score — no request to us is needed, since we never held a copy.
If our practices change, we'll update this page, and continued play after an update means you're comfortable with the current version.
